GCC goes to Cebu

In partnership with APSA, the Guidance Counselors Circle (GCC) conducted a two day seminar workshop last May 14-15, 2010 at the University of San Jose Recoletos, Cebu City. The seminar- workshop was organized to reach out to guidance counselors especially in the Visayas region. Dr. Rosemarie Salazar- Clemeña, President of the GCC presented the ASCA Model and Proposed National Standards for School Counseling Programs in the Philippines. Workshop on Building a Philippine Model for School Counseling Programs was also conducted by Dr. Clemeña. Around 40 guidance counselors from the Visayan Region attended the said seminar workshop. The workshop was facilitated by Dr. Marivic Diwa, Guidance Director of University of San Jose – Recoletos (USJ-R).
